  • Of Words and Windows: The Baal Shem Tov on Prayer
Tuesdays January 24th, January 31st, February 7th, and February 14th, 7:30-9:00
pm
In this class with Rabbi Reinstein, we will draw from the exquisite beauty of the
Baal Shem Tov's teaching on prayer, as contained in the Amud Ha't'fillah/The
Pillar of Prayer. While this will be the primary source, we will also draw from other
Chassidic and rabbinic sources on prayer. Most importantly, we will draw from
our own experience of prayer, times of windows both opened and closed, words
as wings and as barriers. The goal will be to come to a deeper awareness of the
place, the possibility, and the way of prayer in our own lives.
Cost: Free for Nehar Shalom members; $54 for nonmembers, though ability to pay
will not be a barrier to participation.

Please register by Friday January 20th, by emailing rabbi@neharshalom.org
